The Matheson - Healdsburg

Beautiful dining room with outstanding service and delicious food with artful presentation. What more can one hope for?

We had the Locals menu The food is really fabulous and artistically (and theatrically) presented. One funny thing is that we realized that we would have done better ordering off the regular menu, as 3 courses each was really too much for us.

My wife and I chose to try The Matheson for our anniversary and the evening was delightful. I'll start with the staff they did a fine job. They were friendly and very professional. They didn't linger at the table, they stayed focused on making our dining experience very comfortable. We did the 6 course chef's selection and every course was wonderful until we got to the trout which, for my wife and myself was shear perfection. Everything was really lovely. Great flavor combinations and of course everyone will wonder if we would go back and the answer is a resounding YES.

A beautiful restaurant with the most generous, chef and host. A very welcoming experience and delicious food, wonderful service, and an overall beautiful dining experience.

Nice dinner and great service. Attentive but not intrusive. Limited menu but everything we ate was delicious.
