Creditable Mexican food with room for improvement Salsa and chips good. Enchiladas good. Chicken fajitas good, a little under-spiced, but large serving. Refried beans with both dishes were cold. Service ok, just straightforward and all business View all feedback.
What Mari Azizkhanian doesn't like about El Farolito:
This place used to be really good….those days are gone. I have no idea who is cooking back there these days but the food has 0 flavor. I’m honestly shocked at how bad the food was. This place could maybe be ok if you know nothing about Mexican food or aren’t familiar with it or have basically very low standards when you eat…then maybe you would be pleased? Anyone who has grown up in California and has real experience... View all feedback.
Great food and service and that’s why I’m giving them 5 stars…but consider not ordering online right now as your order might get lost due to a tech issue. Call the restaurant if ordering takeout. Obviously they might get this fixed and then that advice no longer applies but there is a problem right now with their website and the orders getting to them and they are aware of it. Still worth 5 stars though!

Anyone who has grown up in California and has real experience with Mexican good I wouldn’t waste my time eating here. It’s a huge fail. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce….need I say more.
This place was awesome! I had the chicken wings as the appetizer, a mole burrito, and an horchata to go with it. The chicken wings were fantastic. They were cooked very well, not overcooked or undercooked. The mole burrito tasted very authentic. Close to something my own grandmother would make. The only thing is the horchata was a little too watery for my taste. They do have a nice bar inside. They don't have a kids menu, but that doesn't mean they're not kid friendly. Kids are definitely welcome! They do have vegetarian options as well. Other than that the staff were very friendly and made sure to check on us and get everything we needed. The interior is very cool. Not only the art pieces, but the orange walls made a fun and unique environment. What's also great is the location of the restaurant. It's in downtown Healdsburg. It's only 300 feet away from the Healdsburg Plaza which is right in the center of everything. You also have an art gallery, tasting room, and wine shop next to this restaurant. Parking can be a little bit tricky because the roads are smaller. You can park on the side of the road and pay for the meter, .50 cents an hour. Or find a parking lot nearby and park your car there. If you are feeling Mexican food for lunch one of these days and you find yourself in Healdsburg I would check this place out first.
I don’t recommend this Mexican restauran for people that really know mexican food. I asked a barbacoa and instead I had a pork meat with a raw chile güajillo salsa , and beans without any special flavor. About service, people was friendly and atmosphere was ok.About menu it’s the same that other Mexican restauran. Nothing impressive
Let me start by saying this place is bomb and the service and staff are great. I got the Chile relleno and it is amazing. My mom got green enchiladas amazing everyone enjoyed the food. Everyone agreed my plate was the best.
