What Kay Morris dislikes about Mccoy's:
It's unfortunate to have to say this about the only fish and chip shop in Headcorn. It seems that the current management has opted for cheaper potatoes, resulting in chips that are often quite hard and jagged, making them unpleasant to eat. I have just bought a pensioners portion of fish and chips. I was looking forward to eating it as it’s been years since I treated myself to this meal. It was a huge disappointment, the fish was dry and stale, as were the chips, most of it’s gone in the bin. Also, the moody chap who served me grunted that they only take cash, so I went off and got some from the machine- wish I hadn’t bothered frankly!! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
