We had dinner here, it was delicious and the service was extremely friendly. You can also eat German here, with bratwurst. the prices are also very fair. all in all a real recommendation View all feedback.
What Kris Webster doesn't like about The Mermaid Eatery:
I have tried this twice. Both times it was ok... but the (German? lady who manages is rude and cares very little for the staff and customers. I can say a GOOD many in the local community wont go there and they rely on the tourists.... I doubt it would last without them. Sadly.. won't be doing the dance a third time with them. This restaurant has a sweet waitress but a horrible manager. Sadly we live near here but won 't be back. The food was atrocious and we didn 't eat it... when we told the manager? She said too bad it must be our pallets because the food is amazing. It 's not and he attitude is brutal. The staff told us to come here and mention it... what 's that tell you? Won 't be back...
Loved it! German inspired, this little eatery is an awesome hidden gem. We lucked into some love music the night we attended. Service is top notch and food is great! And for anyone who's celiac, this place offers a lot of GF selections!Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten friendly options!
Lots of Gluten Free and dairy free options. Beautiful spot. Friendly service and great food!
Food was amazing. Our waitress Molly did a wonderful job on our drink the English Garden that complimented our lunch choices. Will return again.
