While visiting a Hope for Wildlife, we decided to carry on down the road (15 min) to have lunch here.

This is a place you have the try. The service is great. The daily specials are wonderful. The Coconut cream pie is the best I have ever had.

Without a doubt, a delightful "find!" Welcoming and cozy with super delicious soups, sandwiches, dessert.

This is home made food at its best! Recipes from grandma and beyond line the menu. I had a specialty soup that was amazing in both texture and taste. My sandwich was great my wife had a tortiere that was both light and tasty. The desert menu was one of the few I have seen where any choice would have been worth it. 7.95 for dessert .(large portion) Our meal was(65.00) no drinks. All made from scratch. Price was up there for lunch but well worth the price. The gift store had many interesting items but were overpriced imho. We are considering returning tomorrow for lunch...serving staff are kind and considerate. If you are in the area and want a well crafted meal take time to visit and give your taste buds a real treat.

Have eaten here a number of times. Food is always fresh, homemade and delicious! I've tried many menu items and they are all great! The atmosphere is warm and cosy by a wood fire with primitive country decor, nestled within a country store. Recently I had the quiche with a spinach salad, a glass of wine and dessert. Ummmmm. An Eastern Shore gem!
