★ 4.1 / 5 from 881 reviews

At Ray's Restaurant, the reviews are a mixed bag. While some patrons were disappointed by scant toppings and unexpected charges on their seafood pizzas, others sang praises for the delightful atmosphere and generous portion sizes. Diners raved about the fresh, perfectly cooked pizzas, especially the Sicilian and margherita varieties. The family-run establishment is celebrated for its hospitable service and a welcoming vibe reminiscent of home. From gluten-free options to exceptional catering dishes like eggplant rollatini, Ray's promises to cater to a diverse clientele. With its classic Jersey shore style, Ray's is a local gem worth a visit.

Incredible slices! I tried the Sicilian and the margherita, and both were fantastic. The crust was flaky and fresh, while the cheese was perfectly balanced and well-cooked. The sauce had a slight sweetness without being overly salty. It was nearly perfect! I’d even say it was a bargain. Although I'm not local, I will definitely return if I get the chance.

This place serves terrible pizza. Invest in a pizza stone, preheat your oven to 550°F, and let the stone sit in the oven for 30 minutes. Use your favorite sauce to create a delicious, high-quality pizza at home. Take your time with it. It's better than ordering from Ray's.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The pizza was very good. For takeout, I enjoyed a lunch that was affordable, with prices ranging from $1 to $10 per person. The food, service, and atmosphere all earned a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the slice of pizza or the cheese pizza. There's plenty of parking available, including a free parking lot.
