What User likes about Base Camp Cafe:
Did the Sugarloaf Circuit walk and needed a quick refuel .... stumbled upon this place en route to the city. Had envisaged just coffees but got sucked into ordering more! Zucchini fritters and breakfast brioche both dressed with a great chutney very good. The...fresh ‘green’ juice and berry smoothie were very good too but $9 odd is too steep for a run of the mill ‘pit stop’ cafe. View all feedback. What User doesn't like about Base Camp Cafe:
This is a relatively new café at the bottom of Waterfall Gully. It is on the way to the steep walking trail up to Mount Lofty – hence the name. Parking is easy, and there is ample seating, both inside and out. There are good things about our visit: the tasty Belgian chocolate cake, my cappuccino, the colourful artwork (for sale). But on the other hand, there is only a small selection of cake, and the milk for the tea... View all feedback.
