Definitely close to the hearts of a lot of people in the community. I buy Joe's Honey (made in Hayward), pottery handmade locally by Sachiko Campe, and other local art here on a regular basis in addition to the delicious drinks and breakfast food. They even rotate in new local art on the walls on a regular basis, further helping highlight local talent. The owner April almost always works there by herself, and she's incredibly sweet. Snappy's is an amazing asset to the community, Hayward wouldn't be the same without them.
