Delicious, fresh muffins for just $1.50! Please note they only accept cash and there’s no seating available, but you can watch them prepare everything in the back.

--- #1 This place only accepts cash, so be sure to come prepared. #2 The location is somewhat obscure, tucked away behind the CVS pharmacy. You can find it to the right of Hayward Aikido. #3 I mostly pointed to what I wanted when ordering. I inquired about the rolls, and the staff provided brief answers that conveyed the main idea. I tried several items during my visit. The grab bag cookies earned a rating of 2/5; they were crunchy, buttery, and a bit stale. While you do get about six cookies for $2, I ultimately found them not worth it. I also sampled the coconut cookie, which was equally unimpressive—rather non-sweet, if that’s what you’re looking for. After eating two cookies, I was left with quite a bit of buttery residue on my fingers. On the other hand, the meringue cookie was a pleasant surprise, earning a score of 4/5. It was sweet, white, and crunchy, definitely a satisfying treat after the cookies. The cranberry bread absolutely wowed me with a score of 5/5; it’s a mini loaf that was amazingly moist and soft—much better than my expectations after the cookies. I would definitely return just to buy their loaves again. They also offer banana and pumpkin-flavored varieties. I tried a long flaky pastry, which I’m not exactly sure what to call, but it tasted delightful, earning a score of 4/5. Apart from the grab bag and coconut cookies, the other baked goods were consistently good. I would consider returning frequently just for the bread. I’m also curious to try their muffins and croissants in the future!

I just came from there and bought a $2 bag of sorted pastries. they were stale. not only the day old stale, but a few days old stairs. I owe it because I didn't see it in the bag. I should have taken a closer look because I came home and she tried, I noticed that they were dry, hard and in the fall of the blunt Danish, the gele had a strange coating on it possibly from the leaves in the pocket for days. there is no odor to bake. not even a stale odor. I wonder if these things were left for a week or longer on the rule. as I write, I have a bad taste in my mouth and began to feel sick in my liking. for a good measure I examined every bake (4 per bag) and noticed that all were dry, had no smell and was difficult to break something that should not happen with flockengebäck. that was my only time in the bakery and probably won't return. I wrote this after the city hayward began to relax masking standards, and I have no idea how long the bakery has been opened since the pandemic. perhaps this bag was left with brot during the lock-off on the regal and I am the unhappy that ended at the end the purchase of the bag.

This is the best blueberry cake I've ever had! You absolutely must try this masterpiece. Gary is incredibly accommodating and helpful. Please support this local gem, especially during this time. All the baked goods are delicious, but the blueberry cake is my absolute favorite!

Not just a wholesale bakery! Dropped in and bought some zucchini bread. Moist, flavorful, and yummy!
