Country Waffles - Hayward

I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were fantastic, but there were literally only about four small pieces of sausage in the gravy. It felt like someone just chopped up a single link and tossed it in. I was really disappointed.

They prioritize DoorDash and Uber Eats orders, so if you call in for a pickup, you'll end up waiting in line. I waited 30 minutes for a biscuit and gravy because of the DoorDash orders.

The food was decent, but nothing extraordinary; I’m sure a homemade breakfast would taste better. The prices were fair, but would I recommend it? Probably not.

I must say this place is very cozy, there are good things on the menu and other things that personally I don’t t enjoy. If you do not like a classic dinner type style breakfast place don’t come and complain about your experience. It’s meant to be cozy and full you up!

Ordered a half a turkey sandwich and a tortilla soup and a caramel macchiato latte mom ordered the same food except she got a pink drink. Food is delicious. Atmosphere is great and the server is awesome. Only thing is they're open for breakfast and lunch. Get here before it's closes at 2pm.
