Banchō - Haymarket

Bancho is one of my favorite bars in sydney. I am a regular walk and always try to bring my hospitable and family when they come to sydney. one of the things I don't appreciate about the service, however, is that we often feel hasteed. yesterday they reminded us ten times (we literally counted) that we had to delete the table at 19:30. also at the arrival at 18 o'clock the server told us that we need to get out at 7:30 o'clock. we were aware and were ready to go 19:20 clock, we even paid the bill early and sat for a few minutes before the staff came by and remembered us again. this was my experience almost every time when I came for a catch up with friends, and it is not especially a favorable experience with the number of cocktails and eating that we usually get. it feels super transactional and unwilling about it.

Such a nice, intimate place to enjoy whiskey and cocktails. I always have such a pleasant experience here. Hope your “Pretty in Pink” cocktail can become a permanent item on your menu as it is my favourite pink cocktail I’ve tasted in Sydney so far!

The edamame was very salty, but the veggie gyoza was good. I loved the decorations from the Neon Playground event in the bar.

Awesome drinks, ambience and service, a must try is the Hong Kong Sour !

We went for the whiskey.. expected a more refined experience . Service was good, although took along time to get drinks. They need to figure out the lighting...
