Old Sun Inn - Haworth

This place is so beautiful with a rustic touch. We stopped there to have a drink and ask for directions as it was our first time in the town. The staff was so lovely and kind. They really do know how to take care of their customers and make them feel welcome. We asked for places to see/hike and the lovely staff guided us towards all that we can see around the town. Will definitely come again if we ever come back to this towm

Beautiful pub. very welcoming with a magnificent terrace. the beer here was excellent and the food was great. the quality of the burger was excellent. would have seen it again.

Smothered chicken this was a beautiful meal in the sun inn, £12.95 eating was hot, tasty and plentiful. great clean friendly pub, at the rande of the village howarth dogs welcome, so good for hikers . the staff courtesy and service was excellent. highly recommended a visit .

I think that you have to book to eat there. We were very lucky and got a table for 2. I ordered a pint of Landlord and half a Carlsberg for the wife, she had goats cheese lasagne and I a roast dinner plus an extra portion of cauliflower cheese,which was great. Took a while to come, but was worth the wait. Only downside the other vegetables were a bit stewed. Lovely clean toilets and the service was excellent.

We tried the Sunday platter for two, which at £36 was generous for us, considering how much we enjoy our food. On Sundays, they serve an assortment of meats, including homemade Yorkshire puddings, and what’s more, the sausages are far from the usual offerings—they’re sneakily large! There was also plenty of vegetables, including cauliflower cheese, and everything was seasoned well and drenched in gravy (which they encourage you to ask for more of!). The meat was tender and melted in our mouths, while everything else was equally fantastic, delicious, and served hot. Our little one had chicken nuggets and chips, and he devoured it, so it must have been good! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and will definitely be returning in the near future.
