Absolutely stunning! There are incredible forest hikes suitable for all fitness levels, featuring breathtaking sculptures along the trails. You can rent bikes and enjoy a fantastic treetop walk with Go Ape! There's also a café and a delightful children's play area, along with a beautiful visitor center. Additionally, you'll find a few independent craft shops showcasing stunning artworks and ceramics right at the location.
Great day out for the kids. Gruffalo trail went down a treat and the forest was beautiful to walk through. Practically it was an easy place to go with kids easy parking, short walk to the visitor centre, picnic tables and playground. Cheap day out too only £8 parking charge for the whole day.
Fantastic café! Recently taken over by Cafe Ambio, it offers delicious breakfast options, Sunday dinners, as well as delightful cakes and ice cream. It’s an excellent spot that everyone should visit!

A beautiful place to go for long walks and enjoy the nature and the rest. the visitor center and the facilities are well run and everything is clean and well maintained. highly recommended!
