This is my first visit and a chance meeting with this place. I 'm from DEEP south Alabama and I wanted some famed Maryland crab. Sadly, due to a screwing from the Maryland Department Fisheries, this place received a poor lottery tick from allotted yearly crab. Ok. I got their homemade crab cakes. FANTASTIC. What Lynne Mullin doesn't like about River City Crabs Seafood:
We got a dozen large crabs and five of the twelve were “mushy” which means they were NOT ALIVE when steamed. The operator of River City knows if the crab is dead or alive when he puts it in the steamer. He’s steaming and selling dead crabs. Don’t waste your money. View all feedback.
If your a female, do go here by yourself! because they gonna try to pull some funny business .... they tried to make you wait, and act like they turned the wrong steamer on.. so they other MEN can get theirs 1st! I waited 1hr after the 28-30 mins i was told originally to get my 2 dozen crabs!!! I had to go home and get my husband to actually get my 2 dozen of crabs that I was told would be done in 28 mins (about) after an hour and half I was waiting! they refused to give me some type of discount to make it better! so..... the point is ladies, BRING YOUR HUSBANDS! if you want to get your moneues worth!!!!
Great seafood store. Soft crabs and steamed crabs. Plus other seafood.
Very good fresh seafood. Shrimp, crab legs, and a variety of fish.
My lord this place is delicious. The shrimp is soooo good and I just melt when you talk about crab cakes.
Perfect crabs, perfect seasoning, perfect place to get great Maryland steamed crabs.
