in the night we went, the restaurant was unfortunately very short occupied without being blamed for it. Once we understood what happened, we waited patiently for our food and we are glad that we did. our truthahnburgers, which we created in the table, were delicious. the crab pull alone is worth a return. we can't wait to go back. What Kacie Hahn doesn't like about Abbey Burger:
eating was really good, but too expensive. I need the whole package to pay the money. waited for an hour to eat. vibe was confusing inside. the waitress took 20 minutes to get to our table only. we had to ask for service. there were not many people. it talked to someone about how unhappy we were and they were nice and tried to explain that it takes long because they are handrolled burgers. I can see that, but for thi... View all feedback.
Havre de Grace is a charming tourist destination with a lovely waterfront promenade overlooking the Chesapeake Bay. The city is walkable and full of cute shops to explore. However, one downside is the lack of vegan options available in the area. Thankfully, we stumbled upon Abby Burger, a franchise that offers build-your-own burger options with veggie or beyond burger patties and a variety of vegetable toppings. They also have a tasty side salad and sautéed sweet options on the menu, although the latter was unavailable during our visit.
We started our meal with the pretzel with cheese sauce and were pleased with our choice. The cheese sauce had a nice kick to it, which was a pleasant surprise. The special mustard that came with it was a bit dry, so my resourceful partner added some yellow mustard to liven it up. I ordered the AJ10 burger, which was simple but tasty, especially with the ticket and cheese sauce it came with. My wife enjoyed the mushroom mac and cheese and a green salad with feta. Our daughter built her own burger and everyone was satisfied with their meals. While everything was good, we found the prices to be on the expensive side for burgers.
During the havre de grace jazz blues festivals (multiple day event) I was introduced into the wonderful world of abbey burger. instead of getting a burger, I decided on the garnelenburger (a hand garnelenpatty.) combined with my choice of avocado, relish and tweebel on a roasted English muffin, fries, and served with a crumble, round garnitur of a spicy pup slice, I liked it to a generous order of garneliness. my order total came to $18-ish and very delish-ish!

The burgers were amazing! Tons of customization options and excellent flavor. Pretty good alcoholic drinks and beers too. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
