I recently visited Tokio Sushi for the first time with my friends. It took a few minutes for our sushi to be delivered, but once we started eating, it was definitely worth the wait. The sushi was freshly made and served on special wooden platters. We also tried the grill and wok dishes, and everything was fantastic. What 31gilest doesn't like about Tokyo Sushi:
Horrible. That's the only way to describe it. The food was three hours late, with ridiculous excuses given, and the chicken katsu curry looked and smelled like it had been sitting for ten months. The egg fried rice was also questionable. The only saving grace was the free can of French imported Fanta given as compensation for the tardiness. I live in Layton . I been there with my friend in lunch time. We were looking for the sushi Restaurent for lunch and we found there Tokyo sushi Restaurent. it was really make me surprise because of there food quality. It was fresh and so much delicious. I can compare with the wasabi . Yo sushi. Tokyo sushi quality is the batter then those. I'll highly recommend there quality to Check please. U will also surprise. Tokyo sushi take way and eat in) .
I am extremely disappointed with this restaurant. The food took 2 hours to arrive after ordering, and when I called to inquire, they claimed they didn't see my order. The following day, I got food poisoning. I called the restaurant to express my dissatisfaction and was told to call back in 30 minutes. When I followed up an hour later, the manager denied our previous conversation and accused me of lying. Despite giving them the benefit of the doubt, my concerns were dismissed.
The food arrived 40 minutes late without any notification. The quality was really poor and did not resemble Japanese cuisine at all. The sushi-like dish had a strange taste that I couldn't stomach after just two pieces, so I had to discard the remainder. The curry sauce also had an unusual spicy and sour flavor. I have never had Japanese food that tasted like this before in my life.
