I am not the biggest fan of Thai food but this is certainly one of the better Thai restaurants in the area and the staff are very pleasant
We found this restaurant really by accident. Had a meal in a nearby Thai which was ok, but we thought we’d try SukhoThai. We were totally impressed by this restaurant. The service is brilliant, the staff extremely friendly and are there to assist, but are not intrusive. The atmosphere is good and there are some lovely ornaments around the place. However, haven’t got to the food yet. We think it is absolutely brilliant. My partner loves the Green curry, and I can’t get enough of the Pad Khing which is excellent. I love the squid as well. Would recommend this restaurant whole heartedly. We have taken many of our friends here and they have all been impressed. Keep up the good work, and good luck for the future, you have regular customers in us !!!!!
I revisited this restaurant after a few years and not much has changed. The service was friendly and efficient, and the decor remained the same as I remembered from my previous visits. While my wife enjoyed her jumbo prawns, I found my jungle curry to be a disappointment. It tasted like brown Windsor soup with a hint of chili, and the chewy chicken didn't help. The price of the Thai beer was also quite high at £4 for 330ml, which equated to over £12 a liter. Our bill came out to be £40 per person, and I left feeling unsatisfied. It seems like the owners must live in a mansion and drive Bentleys.
Me and my husband visited here and been back for a second visit within the same month. OMG !! It is the best Thai food I’ve tasted. The food was out of this world. I went backpacking in Thailand and eating this food took me right back and was on par. The flavours were unbelievable. The staff were absolutely amazing and looked after us and loved the vino too. My favourite was the jungle curry, the Thai red curry, sticky rice. Everything we have had is beautiful. Thank you so much for looking after us can’t wait to come back xx
We recently ordered takeout from our favorite Thai restaurant that we have been loyal customers of for years. We decided to treat ourselves, but unfortunately, most of the food ended up being thrown in the bin. Everything was bland and lacking in flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was mostly onions, the veg pad thai had no taste, and the special fried rice was also lacking in flavor. The ribs were okay, but not up to their usual standard. It was a disappointing experience overall. We don't usually leave reviews, but we felt that this meal was overpriced at £42 and the quality seemed to have suffered. Perhaps there are new staff in the kitchen?
