Shelly’s Restaurant Bar - Havering

We had a fantastic evening at this restaurant. The people were friendly, the staff was excellent, and the DJ was amazing! I didn't want to leave when it closed at 2am, I wish it stayed open later. Thank you, Shellys!

Last night, we visited this restaurant for a few drinks and were greeted by a very unpleasant bouncer who decided to argue with us over a minor issue. What surprised me the most was that he completely ignored the men climbing the fence next to him to get in. We were a small group of 4 women. After finally being allowed in, the manager scolded us for our friends going through the door marked 'toilets' as there was a private party there, despite no signage indicating that. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, she yelled at us. She waited until after we had paid for our drinks to tell us that we had to finish them and leave. It's no wonder that the bar is so empty and unknown. Save yourself the time and go to The Fatling and Firkin instead.

This restaurant is very unsanitary and unsafe. My friend was assaulted while we were there, and the bouncers, staff, and management did nothing to intervene. The bouncers claimed it was not their responsibility to help because the incident occurred outside the venue, even though it happened on the premises. It was a terrible experience, and I will never go back to this place. The manager and bouncers showed a lack of concern for the safety of their customers.

We used the venue for a surprise retirement party excellent!! Shelley and all staff were so friendly and helpful. The party ran without a problem, and everyone had an amazing night. Great DJ and really lovely bar staff. Would highly recommend hiring for events!!

We had such a great time celebrating our sons 2nd birthday. The soft play was perfect for the kids and the adults got to enjoy the bar. Shelly and the team were so helpful every step of the way. Would highly recommend for anyone planning a party x
