The dining experience was phenomenal with outstanding service that differed from their typical Chinese restaurant. Every dish tasted freshly made and I highly recommend this place. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ming Palace:
Last night, my two friends and I dined at this restaurant that we have been frequenting for years. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to see that the decor has deteriorated and there was a heavy, unpleasant smell lingering in the air. The service on this particular evening was subpar; even though it may have been busy, it was no excuse for the main dishes arriving at different times, causing some to get cold. The ma... I recently went to a birthday party here. there are two menus to choose from, the a carte or the unlimited. we have decided for the unlimited time. so they choose to start as many as they want, they bring enough of each to feed the group...or they can start with suppe. after that follows the crispy escape, until recently there was also the option of crispy lamb, but escape is now the only choice. Once each of the second cures has enough, the menu is brought out again and they get to choose as many main courses as they want, as with the starters enough of each one is provided so that each individual can try. this can be added during the meal until everyone had filled there. there is a large selection of drinks that can be selected from especially weeping. I recommend here for a great night for a reasonable price.
Service was excellent. our server was chatty, polite and helpful. we had to eat as much as they like the menu. I am a veterinarian, so instead of eating on a plate I had on a separate dish was hot and tasty. service fee. is included in the bill
We could only get a 1.45 sitting for our party knowing it closed at 3.30. We were Welcomed with Friendly smiles from the staff. There were 17 of us which were seated along a long table with a division in the middle, so that took...15 minutes for hello’s and to be seated. The entrees of mixed nibbles was a good start, along with crackers and our first non-alchoholic drinks mainly pints or halves of coke. Next came the duck pancakes. The duck was dry, not greasy with lovely crispy edges. Our 2nd Alcholic drink came before our mains. There was quite a nice choice for the mains. Each person had their own dish with a shared bowl of egg fried rice and noodles which was brought up to accompany the dishes. That took two hours for us to complete, which was just about time to close. It all worked out to be around £23.00 per head, so was quite reasonable although a little hurried to get out. All in all the food was nice, very reasonably priced, good value and everyone came out just nicely fed and watered. My mains was the chilli beef. It was very tasty although not a lot of beef more thinly flavoured batter, but tasted OK. No other complaints or moans from anyone else. The service was good, making sure we had the continuity and flow of food. To be honest, I would have liked a bit more time to chill out more, especially with the amount of people in our party, to enjoy a Chinese tea after or another drink. Other couples were dining at the same time and seemed to come and leave while we were there, so maybe we were a little slow. In general I have rated a 4 star which could easily been increased if I had the time to sample the whole experience.
I have been coming here for a few years now. This is a large restaurant so in the week I've never had to book a table for dinner. The food is consistently good and the set price menu is fantastic value you can choose...whatever you want and it's all waiter/waitress service which I much prefer to buffet style. This way the food is fresh and piping hot when it arrives! The customer service was excellent on my most recent visit (I've not been for a few months) and may be due to a change of management/staff. Previously this was the only negative side to the restaurant, but I'm pleased to say this is now vastly improved. Will definitely be back!
Delicious Chinese buffet ordered from a fabulous menu and delivered to your table! This place had some amazing dishes and I frequented here often in the past. So when my friend moved to Harrow we decided to have a reunion at this lovely restaurant. It’s...open from 12 noon to 2:30 for lunch. So on the 1st attempt my friend arrived at 2:00 due to some horrendous traffic. We were told we could only order take away as the kitchen closes at 2:00 but open for take out until 2:30! We explained that one of us just drove 25+ miles to dine here again as a former frequent customer. Sadly we were told they couldn’t accommodate us. We attempted to bring past memories to life again and my friend again drove across London but came across heavy bank holiday traffic on Saturday 31st March. We arrived at 1:50pm and once again we were told that we could only have take away as they did not want to rush us! Why open for lunch if you can only accommodate people for around an hour and half from 12 noon! Might be the reason why the restaurant was empty at 1:50pm on bank holiday Saturday. Time to close at lunch time if you can’t provide appropriate service! Harvester welcomed us with open arms on both occasions!
