My husband and I just had an amazing takeaway from Ding Dong Sushi! The food was excellent, especially the Red Dang and Thai Green curry which were both full of flavor. Definitely the best takeaway in Upminster. Keep up the high standard! View all feedback.
What mccfamily doesn't like about Ding Dong:
Sadly despite hearing good things we ordered a take away but was sadly disappointed. Nowhere near as good as Sukhothai in Hornchurch. All dishes were bland and very average. One dish said on the menu it took hours to prepare/cook sadly I cant believe it was worth the chefs time View all feedback.
I love this place! they have wonderful meals, their menu is rich, the cook in this restaurant is very trained, I love much tasting all their dishes. the courts are consistently of high qualtity, the service to the guests is helpful. I often go to this restaurant and I was never dissatisfied. I recommend it without delay.
Would certainly recommend visiting this place. Fantastic character, flavorful food, excellent customer service. Keep up the good work.
Great food and friendly service. Whether you want to take with or eat in the price, the same, good value for money is.

We had been hoping to find a local restaurant that served freshly made sushi and so I was delighted to spot Ding Dong when walking Upminster high street. The decor is fairly basic but I would say that's probably the only negative to the place overall. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive. They engaged us in conversation; talked to us about the menu and were a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed tempura and asparagus as a starter. For mains we had a selection of Chunky Maki Rolls, Rainbow rolls and Nigiri. I asked to customise the rolls to remove avocado (as they were freshly made) and this was no problem at all. The food was tasty (maybe would have liked to have the Chunky roll a bit spicier as it had only a small dab of Sriracha). Portion sizes were excellent. They all came with pickled ginger to cleanse the palate and some decent wasabi. We had some warm sake to wash this down and the whole thing came to £40 which is an absolute steal in comparison to prices in Central. There was a steady influx of customers (both take-away and eat-in) and I think we will definitely order from here in future.
