The Grill Next Door - Haverhill

A quaint feeling with amazing experience. The ambiance was perfect and the food was amazing. Chicken and waffles were a great no frills dish. Hubby got the Reuben sandwich and loved it.

Friendly service with good food. Mac and cheese with chicken and bacon drizzled with BBQ sauce was the right choice. Certain apps were not available due to distribution issues so I guess those were not made in house ..hmmm

Met my cousins there for dinner. My chicken sandwich with spicy aoli was delicious, fries were very good. Our server Meghan was excellent, attentive and helpful with deciding what to order. Very good value and drinks also good. Great beer on tap too.

Haven’t been here since before the pandemic but the food was great as usual. I ordered theSweet Chili Brussels Sprouts to start. It was a bit hard and It could have been cooked for a few minutes longer but other than that it was a good bite. For my meal I got the GND Steak Tips cooked medium rare and my side was the broccoli. Cooked perfectly. My other reviewer got the Baked Mac Cheese and said it was great. Definitely will be back.

Unfortunately, not what it used to be. Prior to the new ownership/management, the food quality was top notch. Best burgers, best Mac and cheese, best Reuben. Now sadly this is the second time I’ve gone since the change and its clear they are cutting corners and lowering standards. French fries are terrible. Burger was cooked well, but literally came with no toppings. Chocolate lava cake was legit just a market basket chocolate “cake” with fake fudge/ chocolate that tasted like pure sugar and was microwaved. Sad to say I will not come back, or recommend it. Used to be my favorite spot in Haverhill.
