After reading reviews, we decided to give Coastguard a try, and overall, it is definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed small portions of cod, chips, and peas, which were delicious with lovely crispy batter. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere with a log fire burning, although it was still a bit cool inside. The only downside was the tea, which was pretty awful in all honesty, so I would recommend avoiding it completely... View all feedback.
What Briancliffe doesn't like about Elliotts Coastguard Fish Chips:
Great fish and chips. Joined the long queue and expected a long wait. Nope, queue moved along quickly. £19 for two large fish, one chips and two sides , good value also. Will be back View all feedback.
Travel to the island, they only have to fish chips for dinner. two cod and chips, chips, where exactly right, crack on the outside nice and fluffy inside, cod cooked to perfection gorgeous teig and the price, what is not on?
A friend who has been to this beautiful place several times took me and my partner yesterday for the first time. from the moment we went, we felt comfortable, dear personal in a very clean caffe. the fish and chips were wonderful, certainly the best. we had served in a caffe for a very long time. warm and fresh. the prizes were very good and fair. No wonder that it celebrated its 80th year, since elliott opened it. we would highly recommend this wonderful jewel in hayling.
Absolutely brilliant fish and chips, best I ever had, the atmosphere was beautiful and chilled, personal were beautiful and friendly
