Great stopping off point for lunch with a backdrop of active geysers.
Nice place to eat after visiting the geyser. A little bit expensive but worth it. The service is perfect and the view is really nice.
For tourist buses visiting Geysir. That said. Good enough for what it is. Good food and drink. Doesn't pretend to be anything else.

We absolutely loved this place. We had the Toasties and soup. It was so delicious. This was the best sandwich we had on our entire trip. The space is also beautiful and the service at the counter excellent. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Just lovely.
We 're used to tourist traps offering fast food or other unappetizing food when there is no competition to force them to raise the quality of their offerings, This was NOT the case at Geysir Glima restaurant, located in the visitors ' center of the local geyser site. The food here was wonderful, and a highlight of our entire trip beautiful and plentiful fish and chips that were cooked perfectly and were filling enough to keep us going for the full day. Not inexpensive ... 2 servings plus coffee, a Coke, and a piece of Millionaire 's Pie chocolate torte cost about $65 USD ... but we agreed that if this was closer to our hotel location, we would have eaten there again!
What a mess. There is what looks like a hot serving line, a coffee bar, and a counter with sandwiches and nobody seemed to know what was served where and where to order or pay. I ended up with a sandwich which was half a sandwich and not good at all with hard stale bread. It would be better to leave hungry than eat here.
Main restaurant in Geysir visitor centre. Self service restaurant. Good hearty Icelandic hot dishes as well as snacks and sandwiches. Licensed bar. Food was basic hearty food well cooked and tasty. Can be big queues depending on large coach arrivals. Dining space itself very aligned with landscape and interesting sculpture and history of Icelandic wrestling throughout dining space. There is also a separate cafe, restrooms etc.
Extremely touristy, feels like disneyland, I was hoping to find a different place for lunch but everything was busy so we had to settle for this. Mediocre options, food wasn;t terrible but not good either. Service very mediocre. Atmosphere very touristy. I'd recommend you to find somewhere else to eat.

Looks like an old army barrack on the outside. Inside is not much better but it fulfills its purpose as a hotel. It has nice rooms. The excellent breakfast is served at the larger neighboring hotel. That hotel, on the other hand, is nice and comfortable. Everything closes early so be aware. You need to make a reservation, otherwise, you might end up hungry. There is nothing else here besides the two hotels and the tourist center. This is in the middle of nowhere.

(Taken from Google) Perfect location, excellent room, and fantastic breakfast. Just a few additional signs would make navigation easier.
We had a fantastic experience at Litli Geysir (Hotel Geysir)! The hotel was lovely with contemporary decor and spotlessly clean. It was conveniently located near attractions like Geysir (just across the street), Gulfoss, and Pvingvellir. The restaurant served an outstanding dinner and the included breakfast was also excellent.

We stopped here midday through our exploration of the Golden Circle. There's plenty of parking outside and it's right across from the Geysir. It's very busy as there are lots of tourists who make a pit stop here for souvenirs, bathroom breaks, and food. This is canteen style dining, where you pick your food while standing in line. There are lots of seating options and food options as well. I got the lamb sandwich and fish soup. Both were delicious. The lamb was very fresh and juicy. The fish soup was my favorite though, as it was so flavorful and clean tasting. The staff are under a lot of pressure for service due to the sheer number of customers, so don't expect anything super warm or welcoming on that front. Great place to stop for lunch! Bathrooms are also fairly clean.
Very solid hotel restaurant with good food. Service was friendly and upscale. We split a starter of local meat and cheese bites, which was good, but unsurprising. Our mains were solid. I had lamb chops with sweet potato and vegetables on the side, my husband had the arctic char with risotto. Both were cooked very well, but could have used a smidgen more creativity. With the prices of the place, I world have expected a slice or two of bread and a little amuse bousch, but no chance. Can recommend, but come prepared to spend.
Pleasantly surprised at how tender their beef is in the burger and how tasty and crispy their fish and chips are. Much better than the ones in England! The only problem is that they don’t come with ketchup! Though the chips were delicious and fried to the right crunch, I wish there were sauces to choose from
Decent restaurant located near the famous 'Strokkur '. I wasn 't expecting much, but it 's pretty good. Salmon with vegetables and pizza was very, very good. Salmon was very fresh. It looks like they made pizza right there. The pizza cheese and sauce were great and the crust was nicely crispy.
The best tomato soup for my daughter and I loved their fish soup. It is usually full but we always found a table for sitting. Service is fast, prices reasonable and atmospfere fine. You ordered food and pay with a tray at the cash desk.
