The day I dined for lunch I had a foie gras appetizer that was accompanied with rhubarb and a foie gras ice cream. Sensational! Then I had the most wonderful boudin noir. The sausage was transformed into what seemed like a hash and sautéed as a patty. Red cabbage topped with a grilled peach provided a great complement. Dessert was an outstanding soufflé served with a rhubarb ice cream. The restaurant is in a modern building located in a commercial/industrial section of the town. I found the design and atmosphere inspiring and a nice contrast to the traditional buildings of the region.

The food is elegant French with complex preparations and wonderful sauces. The prices are reasonable for the outstanding quality of the cuisine. The menu changes weekly so any dishes I could recommended may no longer be available. From what we were served, I can’t imagine any meal not being superb.

On December 24th, I called the restaurant to confirm the reservation and to ask about the menu. They then informed me about the outrageous price of € 150/per person, no no drinks included), but Ok! we were willing to go there since reservations on this time of the years are always hard. Today, December 30th, I called the place again to ask for a special menu for a vegetarian person and they informed me I no longer had a reservation. They claimed to have send an email, asking for yet ANOTHER confirmation (which I did not receive). When I called, the hostess was very unhelpful rude and snob. I would NEVER recommend this place. Extremely inconsiderate and horrible customer service

Here the complexity of French cuisine is not an excuse... read more After a long trip from Champagne to Alsace, this is definitely the best restaurant we tested,out of many. Here the complexity of French cuisine is not an excuse to cover rotten ingredients, but is a recipe for integrated excellent dishes. You realize this from the beginning, from the bread. One only criticism: you one dish is not of satisfaction to customers, do not charge it; it is a question of style. Your prices are already high enough to sustain this.

Its hard to say what was my favorite course, I feel like each course as they all were just so unique and delicious. The service and staff were great. We will definitely return on our next trip.
