Delicious burgers and wraps. Service is generally quick, although during times when the ferry lines are long, the wait at the snack shack can also increase.
Awful experience. After waiting 20 minutes for our food, we saw the girl at the pickup window and she told us it was ready. However, when we went to the window, it was clear she needed to go to the bathroom. The guys inside just let us stand there along with a few other waiting customers. One woman had been waiting for a hotdog for 15 minutes. A man asked if anyone was waiting for an order (which I could see through the window), I nodded yes, but then nothing happened—we just continued to stare at the food. After another 10 minutes, the girl finally returned and handed us our meals. Unfortunately, the food was lukewarm and not very good, but we were so hungry by that point. We ended up spending $26 on a plain burger and fries, and a special order of mac and cheese bites.
Had a really great experience with the owners of the snack shack. We were waiting for our ferry and feeling hungry, but cutting it close to our departure time. The owner was very thoughtful about what we should order to make it in time, and the food was done sooner than we expected. Kids all said it was one of the best burgers they ever had. Coconut shrimp and ice cream sandwiches were great too!
The food was outstanding! I requested a surprise meal and received mahi tacos and French fries that were absolutely delicious. We are visiting from Pennsylvania and were so eager to return the next day, only to be disappointed to find it closed on Saturday and Sunday! The service was really fast, but it wasn't crowded around the ferry (around 12-1 pm on Friday). We dined in, but just a heads-up—there's only one small table in the front and one or two in the back. I would definitely eat here again!
