This restaurant is fantastic! The food was exceptional, as you can see in the pictures below. The presentation, flavors, and portion sizes were all spot on. It was just okay. Given the price, I expected a bit more. I ordered the steak and shrimp with spicy vodka sauce. Unfortunately, the shrimp weren't deveined, which was off-putting. The steak was cooked to my specifications, but it lacked seasoning. The spicy vodka sauce didn’t taste like traditional vodka sauce at all. We waited an hour and we?re seated in the bar area but it was well worth it! The food was flawlessly delicious and portions were perfect. Would?ve ordered another round of drinks but our waitress (bar maid) didn?t make it back in time.
Awesome experience. SO glad we gave this place a try! We ate here on a Friday night. Last night of vacation. There was a wait when we arrived at 8pm. We went to the back patio and the excellent bartender took care of us and there was live music. They said it would 40 minutes but the ?buzzer? went off after 15 minutes. We sat at one of the bar high top tables. The food was incredible! We had a shrimp appetizer that was a on the specials list. Then I had the Swordfish and shrimp. My wife had the shrimp and scallop pasta. The food was so fresh and the portions were generous. You know by the taste the fish and shrimp were swimming the day before! In all the years going to the Outer Banks, this was probably our best meal we have ever had? and we have had some great meals over the years. Shannon was our server. She was attentive, friendly and always there when you needed her. We got a piece of Key Lime pie to go. It was good, but not exceptional like the rest of the meal. We WILL be returning.
Awesome atmosphere and service! We were seated immediately and greeted by an amazing server. (I'm sorry, I forgot her name but I asked her for the sweetest red wine they had. We will definitely come back! We ate the grilled yellowfin tuna, banana fosters cheesecake and pickled fried okra.
I'd say I waited about 20 minutes for a seat at the bar, but that was way better than a group with a full table, as I saw plenty of people having to wait over an hour. The food was certainly well worth it, and I certainly drove up my bill ???? I took a picture of the menu, and at first glance, then you looked rather small, but I was given a full menu later on, so I don't know what the smaller one is. It's pretty neat how they have pictures of hurricanes at the entrance!
I reviewed some calamari earlier today but this calamari was FIRE. Whatever sauce they include with it is immaculate. The crab dip, the seafood Alfredo, the Marsala, everything was delicious and came out so fresh. Very cool atmosphere and great service on top of the great food made for a wonderful evening. Unequivocally bussin overall
