They have clearly expressed their des... read more Ever since the renovation, the new management has been actively trying to push out the long-standing regulars of this pub. They have clearly expressed their desire to remove the sense of community and family that existed here before they took over. Their attempts to transform the pub into something it was never meant to be have resulted in the loss of its traditional charm. As a result, I no longer feel welcome and have chosen to drink elsewhere.

The service is smooth and the pub staff are very welcoming. I feel very comfortable here and have enjoyed several meals since the rebrand.

I... read more I went to this restaurant for lunch with my friends and let me tell you, the burgers were amazing! The maple bacon burger was incredibly juicy and delicious. I will definitely be returning. Tuesdays are a great day to visit because you basically get a free pint of beer with your burger - what a great deal!

Sadly we've been harassed out the building by staff constantly checking if were up to no good. Throughout the whole time we spent there they stood behind the bar in a bunch and kept staring at us, sometimes the manager who lies about his position) would come up to us and accuse us of smoking inside the building which did not happen at all, and by staring at us the whole time I'm sure they knew we did not do, they just wanted us to feel harassed and uncomfortable. We probably did not fit the profile of the new place seeing as everybody else were white... but never would've imagined something like this would happen to customers who did nothing wrong just sat with a drink and talk. Miss the old days, this pub has been ruined.

We enjoyed watching the Arsenal vs Frankfurt UEFA match here, which made for a fun experience. The food is decent and pairs well with a selection of good Ales.
