Hallingbury Mill - Hatfield Heath

Grubby place which could be fantastic. 2 times out of the 3 visits i made there was no food available. Breakfast was rubbidge which is a mixture of rubbish and garbage.

Nice people. Good service. Wonderful environment. The rooms are a little outdated but Thea are cosy and homely. And the prices are nice.

We booked a room on booking in December 2018 for two days from 21 May 2019 to 23 May. We landed at the nearest London Stanted airport and had a driver to take us to the hotel. What a good surprise to see that the hotel was deserted. We found ourselves in the middle of no big hotel with a driver that you pay 60 euros for 10 min drive that leaves us in plan. Fortunately we met a nice gentleman telling us that the hotel has put the key under the door since March so he brought us to another hotel where we had to pay 100 euros more. It's unacceptable that we didn't know that booking didn't warn us on the other hand they sent us the reservation confirmation in the same morning. It's a shame I'm overworked that it could happen. Do not book this hotel at least it is not available. I really don't trust booking anymore.

Wonderful food, enchanting owner and friendly staff, if the menu suits you then you're in for a treat.
