Description
This charming restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere filled with vibrant decor, friendly staff, and mouthwatering Mexican cuisine, including standout chips and salsa. Despite some inconsistencies in food quality, many dishes, such as the chile rellenos and breakfast options, shine through. Although the establishment has transitioned to a gift shop, previous visits showcased its culinary offerings as exceptional, capturing the authentic flavors of New Mexico cuisine that keep patrons returning. It's a nostalgic spot for locals and visitors alike, reminiscent of home-cooked meals in a family-run setting.

The green chile-meat-cheese burrito was delicious. The flour tortilla it was wrapped in was done to perfection. Price was very reasonable. We found this place because Sparky's a couple blocks away was closed. Next time we'll go here.
This place is fantastic! When you enter through the gift shop, you'll find some great souvenirs and items to browse. To the left, you'll discover the restaurant. The food is outstanding for the price! I highly recommend the California burrito—it’s massive and absolutely the best I've ever had! Their tacos are also delicious, and so are the tortas. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
Please note that this place no longer operates as a restaurant, but it has transformed into a fantastic gift shop. The woman working there was incredibly friendly and kindly suggested another spot for lunch. She recommended Hatch Corner Ice Cream, which is located right across from them. Surprisingly, this place isn’t listed on Google. I ended up having excellent carne asada street tacos, paired with a very spicy salsa and guacamole, along with a delicious limeade that truly impressed me.
