At Hatboro Dish, diners encounter a blend of experiences that reflect both potential and pitfalls. While some guests rave about the attentive service and flavorful meals, others express disappointment regarding long wait times and inconsistent food quality. The outdoor seating offers a pleasant option, yet the ambiance can be marred by loud music and a bustling kitchen. Though some mention the décor needing maintenance, the restaurant retains an inviting, industrial vibe. With a varied menu and flexibility in accommodating requests, Hatboro Dish may still be worth a visit, particularly for those seeking a lively brunch or casual dining atmosphere.

I ordered a delicious omelet at the restaurant. The service was great, although my friend and I were the only ones dining outside, with very few customers indoors. There was a mix-up with our omelet orders, as I received the cheese omelet my friend had asked for. View all feedback.
What Waylon Mohr dislikes about Bernie's-hatboro:
We asked for outside seating in the reservation and replaced on a sidewalk next to the opening for staff went in and out by the dishwashers. Our server came to our table within five minutes and took her order. She returned to the table minutes later to report the both of our requested meals were no longer available. We ordered an appetizer and a crabcake sandwich. She brought us our drinks, which were bottles of beer... View all feedback.
We ordered an omelette special with avocado. Instead of the chef saying they couldn't make it because they were out of avocado they served us omelette's with rotted avocado. Good coffee, Decent service.
Really great place. Sort of a cross between a diner and a traditional restaurant. Our breakfast was excellent. A bit pricey, but not unreasonable. We will definitely be returning!
I have been to The Dish on several occasions, but today I have decided to write a review. The Dish is a family run operation and you can feel the love that is poured into this place the second you walk in. If you are looking for a fancy restaurant that looks like it was designed by a big city hipster, this is not that kind of place. However if you are looking for a fantastic breakfast or lunch experience with food that looks and tastes like a home cooked meal and served by people that take pride in everything they do.. then this IS YOUR PLACE. On Sunday, I brought my family of 4 and another family of 3 with us to enjoy brunch. We were all starving because we had waited over an hour at another establishment and never were seated. At the Dish, we waited 15 mins only (on a busy Sunday and they offered complimentary Mimosas and **** Mary's.. already a plus in my book: All of us had breakfast, except one party member decided on a Cheese Steak and French Fries. The cheese steak was packed with meat and there were a ton of fries, he said that it was one of the better CS's he has had. Myself and one of my son's ordered Breakfast Skillets and they were delicious. We had the Smokehouse and the South Philly. My Wife had an omelet and substituted potatoes for a fruit cup and she is particular about not having cheese and the staff accommodated her with out question. My other son and our friend's daughter had the chicken and waffles and they were very generous portions. I believe it was a whole order of Chicken Fingers on a large waffle and the kids had to take some of it home. Everyone loved their meals, the service was spectacular. If you can get in Donna's section, do it.. she's fantastic!
We had excellent service from our server, Tyler! The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable. However, the food was only average.
