A wonderful brunch. full taste presented by someone who really interested everything in the teller. low key, but top class! we sneak a pudding to ingwer rhubarb sponge sublime

Undoubtedly the best brunch I've ever had. high quality ingredients, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. the homemade fermented chili sauce is delicious. our dogs were made very welcome by the friendly staff. can't wait to go back.

We were in Hastings for the day and just happened to pop in to Sea Kale for lunch as we were passing because it looked nice. The food and drinks were fantastic, faultless in fact. We had bubble and squeak with poached eggs and field mushrooms, iced chai and coffee. Every last thing was delicious, even down to the homemade chili and brown sauces. Very reasonably priced. Friendly place. Interesting artwork on the walls. Clean loo. Brilliant cafe. We will definitely return when we are next in Hastings.

I visited Seakale this morning without a reservation, hoping to find a table. Luckily, there was an available spot for me. Instead of my usual choice of scones with smoked haddock, I decided to try the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. I now have too many favorite dishes to choose from! The food at Seakale is always beautifully cooked and presented, never failing to impress. It's truly a gem of a restaurant and I absolutely love it!
