We went here a few years ago and were underwhelmed. BUT, today we were looking for a quick lunch and thought we would give it another try. Upon entering, a gentleman behind the counter, said “will this be for here to go?“ To which we replied, “for here please”… His reply was, “I can only make it to go because we close in 20 minutes”. Purchased a few sandwiches and they were DELICOUS. Was on my lunch break so I called and ordered ahead to swing in and pick up, and they were ready when I got there. Friendly owner. Wish there was more advertising to get the word out for people who maybe new to town, this place deserves your business!
State Grounds Coffee House in Hastings, Michigan, deserves 5 stars! The coffee was really good—rich, flavorful, and just the right temperature. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability of their menu, offering great value without compromising on quality.

I met up with my girlfriends here for lunch and we all had really great sandwiches. We'll be back for sure! Thank you!
