Marco's Pizza - Haslet

Nothing but great experiences with this place! I have enjoyed trying new pizzas ???? each time. The sub sandwich was also really good. Also, delivery is always on time and the food is always hot!

Ordered a pizza at 8:17pm with an estimated delivery at 9pm. We called the shop at 9:35 to inquire about our order and we?re met with short, rude responses. Our pizza showed up around 945pm and this is what showed up, two pizzas with toppings slid to one side : Super disappointing.

Edit 8/26/22: Since the owner responded I decided To call into the store, the employee who answered confirmed that they do indeed use a canned mushroom. I want to stress that there?s nothing wrong with this? it?s just not a good experience to me due to the off putting texture and lack of fresh flavor. Pepperoni is great and the toppings they offer for the crust are wonderful. Original review: This is one of the best pizzas you can get from a chain.. UNLESS you are a mushroom lover. I don?t understand, all the ingredients are high quality but then you get to the mushrooms and they are clearly from a can. They have the classic canned mushroom rubbery texture. I order from this place all the time I can?t get to five star until they fix the mushroom situation:

We?ve ordered from all pizza delivery in the area. I must say Marco?s delivery sucks! They should just tell you it will be there when it gets there, instead of giving you a specific time! Pizza is all pretty much the same here and Marco?s charges $4.99 for delivery and Pizza Hut $6.99 and driver?s do not get that. So, I can only presume it?s liability insurance. Venice pizzas in Newark makes very good pizza and charges $2.00 for delivery, depending on how far. Their pizza is good too! My choice would be Papa Murphy?s deep dish cooked at home, too far to get it. Marco?s as far as I?m concerned sucks as far as delivery on time and the pizza isn?t really that good!

Update: I like marcos pizza, so I decided to give this place another try. Surprise! It let me down again. I should have known better. 60 minutes after ordering we called the store, and they said my order would be the next made. How is pizza not even made an hour after ordering? 90 minutes after ordering and our pizza had just left the store. Apparently there was only one driver working, so who knows how many orders the driver left with, and how much longer it would have taken to get my order. I canceled, to which the response was just, are you sure? Trust the bad reviews; it 's a 50/50 shot that you 'll ever get your order, but they can pretty much guarantee it will be late, and will make no effort to make it right. And no I don 't want to tellmarcos because it won 't make a difference. Original: I placed an order online at 5:30, said it would be 69 minutes. Since I live close to the store, I tried to call at 65 minutes to check on the status. I was on hold for 31 minutes before I finally disconnected. If you 're short staffed, fine. Set the expectations appropriately. I 've been charged for an order I will never get and can 't reach anyone to cancel.
