I didn't stay in the rooms, so I can't comment on them, but the food and service were fantastic. I'll definitely be eating and drinking here again and highly recommend it! Service: 5 Location: 5

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The only time I've eaten lobster, I didn't enjoy it at all! It was tough and had a faint, strange smell. I also felt that the grilled oysters were significantly undercooked. While I don't mind raw oysters, I think others might want to steer clear. To make matters worse, someone at the bar was constantly vaping. Although the bar staff eventually asked him to stop, their eye-rolling made it clear they thought I was being unreasonable. Overall, it was a letdown, especially considering the high prices.

As regular customers, we recently organized a seasonal party for twelve people, which included an overnight stay with dinner, drinks, and breakfast. The Alma once again proved to be exceptional, receiving top marks for its outstanding food, warm hospitality, comfortable rooms, and excellent value for money. We truly love this place; it's a quintessential English seaside port pub that boasts a loyal clientele, a charming old-world atmosphere, and superb service.
