Westside Bowling Lanes - Harvey

This restaurant used to be quite nice a few years ago; it was clean and welcoming. However, now it has a dark and shabby atmosphere. The customer service was abysmal. I called three times and left messages to book lanes for a birthday party, but the booking agent never returned my calls. When I went there in person to reserve lanes and asked why no one had responded to my messages, the young girl at the counter replied that the manager, who is also the booking agent, was "very busy." I have no intention of returning. I do not recommend this place. The owner should be ashamed of themselves. How is it acceptable for a manager to be too busy to help the business make money? This establishment lacks any real presence and likely won't last long. I look forward to its eventual closure, and I envy anyone who hasn't had the misfortune of visiting here.

Unlimited bowling for $42 is an excellent value. However, the exterior of the building could use some renovations, as it might deter visitors who aren't familiar with New Orleans. Overall, though, it was a fantastic experience.

Great place two hours before closing it's pretty busy on the weekends.

We frequently bring our kids here. It's an affordable option for medium to large families, especially if you take advantage of their ongoing promotions. A few days a week, you can enjoy a fun outing with the kids at a discounted rate for them.

I used to really enjoy this place when it first opened. It had a clean and airy atmosphere. Now, though, it feels dark and has completely changed. It resembles more of a dingy bar; the only thing missing is the smell of cigarettes. When my stepdaughter and I walked in, we were met with the gaze of men sitting at the bar. They informed us that there was over an hour wait for a lane, despite numerous empty lanes available, because people had called in to reserve spots. No thanks—I'm not coming back. By the way, the photos on Yelp don't reflect the current state of the place. So much has changed since then!
