"Amazing fireworks! Make sure to bring bug spray and a jacket. We attended an evening event with music and fireworks on the 4th of July, 2022. Our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. We parked in a field, set up our deck chairs, and enjoyed the live band before the fireworks show began. The concession stand had basic snacks like fried dough, so we brought our own water and snacks.".
What User doesn't like about Fruitlands Museum:
The restaurant is situated on a hill and combines a blend of art and history. It is unique in its own right, not comparable to places like Strawberry Banke in Portsmouth, NH, or Old Sturbridge Village. There are lovely hiking trails nearby with stunning vistas. The atmosphere is not child-friendly. View all feedback.
The museum is quite spacious and impressive. I took a self-guided tour on a beautiful day. They also have outdoor areas where you can fly kites.

We had such a good time today. the weather was perfect for going the site, the staff was all friendly. we paid the additional $5 for the tour of the shaker museum and the fruitlands agriturismo, and it was totally worth it. our guide for the tour, amy, had so much knowledge to share. She was great!
After checking the Trustees site to pick a date and time, my girlfriend and I drove out to the Fruitlands museum. When we arrived it seemed something was amiss as the gate was only half open. We drove in and I went to the gift shop to see what was going on. When I entered the building the woman behind the counter shushed me while she carried on an insipid conversation on her cell phone for about 10 minutes. Then she interrogated me like an angry schoolmarm about where I got the information that the museum was open. She was obviously spitting mad that she had to interact with a member of the public and looking for any opportunity to insult me. The grounds are beautiful but the behavior of this staff member was ugly. I doubt I’ll return.
