My wife and I had never been here before And wanted to try it out. It’s a cozy little place. Small operation but that’s not a bad thing. We were told to sit wherever we wanted. Our server was great. We waited a but longer than typical for it, a little slow, but we came in when they were busy so it’s understandable. Breakfast was served hot and was very delicious. My only critique is I would like to see some non pork... View all feedback.
What YOU ME doesn't like about The Hartville Pantry:
Always changing the entire staff not just 1 or 2 people lots at a time and now the food takes forever to get. If you deliver an order expect to wait a long time because they don't seem to care about the customer or driver View all feedback.
The German Fries are amazing! Lisa, the cook, is fantastic! And Cynthia is truly a great server. I have always loved the history of this place.
The food was great. The service was amazing. The place was not much to look at from the outside, but it was a GREAT hidden gem! We liked it so much, we went there two days in a row for brunch.Parking: Across from the grain elevator and behind the restaurant.
This place is truly a must try. Breakfast was very good every time we went there.
The BLT was excellent. The bacon was plentiful and done perfect. Service was very fast and was offered to go drinks before leaving.
This little restaurant is welcoming and despite the low ceilings from the ancient building, the colors are light and airy and the tables are spaced so as not to feel crowded. We ordered the original American breakfast of eggs, toast, bacon and home fries. The home fries are real and the bacon was delicious. Highly recommend. They also have some specialty items on the menu that I’d like to try sometime such as apple fritter French toast and the German pancake.
