while visiting some friends in stanmore, one of their children suggested that we have fish chips fortunately knew their parents only the place ... the white house (and not the washington, as not sure that their fish and chips would be so good we would take. the great here is that everything is freshly cooked to order this necessarily means a short delay, but it is worth it. We go here regularly and have always been happy to pay cash as this is the only option available. However, now during this lockdown situation when they are doing take away service we will NOT use them as it is unsafe and unhygienic to handle...cash. Unless they change to taking cards they have lost our custom. View all feedback.
Today I called to order fish and chips for a friend, but the food looked so good that I ended up ordering some for myself. However, I realized I didn't have enough money to pay for everything. When I asked if I could put some items back, the guy at the counter told me not to worry and gave me the sausage anyway. I thanked him and offered to go to the ATM outside to get the rest of the money.
First, who liked himself over this place has no idea what fish and chips are. they are probably used to get much worse quality product and was used to it. overcooked? no. in twenty years everyone is part perfect. the matzo meal option. is fantastic and they will not find fresh or fine filets cooked by cadry or squid to perfection. max and the team have worked enormously hard in the run of the years to build an excellent and deserved call. I used to be a native and had it in front of the door. Now in milton keynes I'm making the habit to go whenever I meet somewhere near north londons. can't wait until they open again, I'll take a customer on a business lunch.
Been coming here for a while now and it’s safe to say they have never let me down. Lovey bunch of guys working there, they are all family and make you feel very welcome. All I can say is give it a try you won’t...be disappointed.
