The pub is much as... read more This pub used to be my local back in the 1970s!!! I popped in with a few friends to have a pint and was happy to see the pub is still going. The pub is much as I remember, apart from it now has a much bigger beer garden. If you like real ale give this pub a go because the beer is very good. If you are planning a visit I would recommend you check the opening times because they are different from other local pubs.

It’s been taken over by a man who bullies locals who... read more The Oddfellows used to be a lovely friendly place with a nice big garden that served food. It now doesn’t. It’s been taken over by a man who bullies locals who have been going there for years. He is incredibly rude and intimidates customers, particularly women. The drinks are over priced. The atmosphere is unwelcoming and it feels more like a club house for the owner’s friends than a public house for locals and business.

Lovely atmosphere at this beautiful restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. They publicised they were open un... read more I stopped going to this pub 2 years ago due to a bad experience. My friends and myself go out for a few beers every fortnight. They publicised they were open until 12pm. They decided to announce last orders at 11pm and proceeded to ask us to leave shortly after. However, it appeared they were happy for other customers to remain. I didn't appreciate the way we were treated by the staff so haven't returned back into the doors for 2 years. We now go to Wetherspoons where the drinks are 1\2 the price and the service to be much better. I recently hear this pub is experiencing financial troubles.... I wonder why ?
