I had arranged for this baker to make a cake for my daughter and reached out a week before the event, only to be told I hadn’t paid a deposit and it was too late. She never mentioned the need for a deposit, so I assumed the order was confirmed. This left me in a difficult situation just a week before my daughter’s 5th birthday.
