Balkh Restaurant in Kenton has garnered attention for its diverse Afghan cuisine, delivering a range of experiences to diners. While certain dishes, like the Mantu and Qabli Palow, have impressed with generous portions and vibrant flavors, others, including the Chapli kebab and lamb shank, fell short of expectations. Service throughout remains commendable, showcasing friendly staff and helpful management. Aesthetic surprises in the restaurant's decor enhance the dining experience, but quality and portion sizes occasionally vary, leaving some diners craving more. Overall, Balkh presents a promising yet inconsistent culinary journey for Afghan food enthusiasts.

Perfect Afghan cuisine. Nice setting. Good staff. Kabuli Pulau was perfect. And kebab. Homemade chips are a must also the homemade garlic sauce. Only negative the borjani and rice lacked some salt . Lovely green tea. Platter and rice. Good for families and parking not to much of a issue. View all feedback.
What Finley Williams dislikes about Balkh Kenton London:
I was excited to try their Chapli kebab, but it ended up being disappointing. They tasted more like Pakora. To be fair, the manager acknowledged our complaint and removed it from our bill. The two dishes I enjoyed the most were the Manto and the Fatoush Salad. View all feedback.
We were 9 people after we had visited the restaurant balkh, almost each of us has different meal times from the other. every meal is a recommendation for her. the staff is very friendly and very generous. highly recommended.
The best Afghani food I had in london in the @balkh restaurant in kenton. the last time I had afghan food, was in Munich in 2019! I was megahung after cycling for 90 minutes and 4 1/2 hours climbing. in order the qabli palow (lamb shaft with reis) and mantu (lamb dumpling). both were generous portions and absolutely delicious. I had dough to drink. service was friendly and professional. they also gave me a bit of home made ice on the house. definitely back.
Service is excellent. very friendly. on the bottom was eating. isn't that bad, it was just extremely salty, and it wasn't just me, it was a lot of the group complaining about it too. also a part of the fries that come with the meal is very small. the ambiente is different.
