Holidaying once again in the area, we returned here the following year, this time with a black lab puppy in tow. And what a great choice we made once again: super welcome and service, tasty and well priced food, good ambience and, naturally, dog friendly. Don't miss the restaurant sign on the left as you walk up the main street through the arch and just a few steps along. Thank you. We are sure to return. View all feedback.
What Marea L doesn't like about The Willow:
This place blows hot and cold depending on who’s working that day! On a high street with only one cash machine we were informed when we asked for the bill cash only today. Understandable that minimum bill is £10 for card payment credit or cash. Will not be going again. View all feedback.
The restaurant provided excellent food and service with a friendly smile.
Excellent meal for 5 people from breakfast to pie to cream tea and cake. All beautiful and excellent friendly service. Highly recommend
Did not stay here, visited for coffee and cake. Scones were quite nice but came already buttered and I would have liked to have buttered them myself with a little more butter.
We booked for evening meal, promptly served with great food and a nice wine. The staff were friendly and it seems popular with local people. We didn’t stay so can’t comment on the rooms
I am a vegetarian and the menu was really varied. Our lunch was excellent, the coffee was great with friendly staff and efficient service. The whole place was spotless which is really good to see. Great little place and it was really busy too, we will definitely be back.
