What User likes about The Sun Inn:
since the renovation, this pretty little pub has given itself a new leasing contract while preserving the feeling and history of the sun inn and the battle of marston moor. really friendly and welcoming renter and renter, plus eating is fantastic and very cheap, so well we went back for Sunday dinner in the same week (safe were not disappointed again) again often I am sure! so beautiful that they can stand at the bar... Based on the reviews on here, my wife and I made a trip to this pub for beer and food only to find the car park blocked by concrete blocks. The pub appears closed and there’s a sign asking for new tenants so we’re assuming it’s temporarily closed. View all feedback.

read moreThe Sun Inn, a recently renovated pub steeped in history, attracts both locals and visitors with its charming atmosphere and affordable, hearty fare. While some diners have experienced issues with portion sizes and food presentation, many praise the welcoming service and the quality of traditional pub meals, highlighting popular choices like steak and ale pie and Cumberland sausage. The establishment also caters to families with a diverse Sunday lunch menu. With its delightful decor referencing the Battle of Marston Moor and a picturesque beer garden, The Sun Inn remains a promising spot for a casual dining experience.
