We visited a beautiful traditional and cozy old pub for a cup of tea on our way to the Emmerdale tour. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Our teas and coffees were served on a tray with teapots, biscuits, plenty of milk, and sugar cubes. The total cost was £10 for 3 teas and 1 coffee in a large cup and saucer. The food menu had a small but good selection at reasonable prices. We sat in a quiet room where mobile phones and laptops were not allowed. We will definitely visit again when in the area. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
This pub is amazing with a fantastic atmosphere that becomes even better in the winter when the fires are lit. The Sunday lunches are fantastic, but make sure to book in advance as it is a proper country pub. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect score of 5.
This pub is fantastic! The beer selection is well-maintained and the landlady has clearly put a lot of effort into the establishment. She genuinely cares for her customers. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.
