I visited Steak n Shake on campus this evening. The food came out hot and it was very good. Ordered a banana milkshake with a cherry and whip creme which was delicious. View all feedback.
What Cat Blue doesn't like about Steak 'n Shake:
The food was all cold, the burgers came with ketchup and mustard on them which no one should already have condiments automatically on them, the chili cheese fries had no chili on them, and the fries were so salty that they burned the lips of anyone who ate them. The only positive was that it was edible. View all feedback.
I love the food, but I’ve gotten a Frisco melt without the Frisco on it twice now.

This Steak 'n Shake is located on James Madison University Campus in the D Hall building. The menu is limited, but it has the essential Steak 'n Shake items burgers, chicken strips, and milkshakes! Prices are about the same as a traditional location. For non campus members, visiting may be hard due to parking restrictions.
The order took a little long and the food came cold, and the burger I ordered was dry, and blend
