We had a fantastic Father's Day dinner with a beautiful view of the water. Lauren was our waitress, and the service was outstanding. The grouper dinner was absolutely delicious. Thank you once again; we can't wait to come back. Our dog also enjoyed a big bowl of ice water!

Good food and service. Enjoyed our meal view. I would recommend the ribs over the brisket. It was over cooked and dry. Was hungry so forgot to take photos of food but did get a pic of our homemade coconut cake. Delicious cake!!!

This is a hidden gem in Chattanooga. Located on the Harrison Bay the Dockside Cafe is a great restaurant. There was a little bit of a wait but I was with a group of 7. The service is good. Food was delicious. I've been coming to this restaurant at least once a year for a decade now. Definitely worth a visit. And when your done eating go out back and feed the ducks and giant turtles and catfish the flock around the dock.

Service was wonderful. Our waiter did a fantastic job.We sat on the patio facing the water on a very hot day. He kept our drinks filled even when the ice was melting nearly as fast as he brought it. If the food was as good as the service, I would have givenit 5 stars. The food I got was over priced and flavor was not bad, but not as good as I had hoped it would be for the price. Igot the BBQ pork plate with a baked potato and baked beans. It costs $1.50 extra for a little sprinkle of cheese and a fewbacon bits. I asked for extra butter and sour cream which I did get. I just expected that the butter and sour cream would comealready melting on a steaming hot baked potato. The margarine came in prepackaged cups with the peal off top and the sour creamwas packaged in the little clear sauce cups with lids. Next time, I might just ask if I could order a kids meal and maybe getdessert too. I say next time because I might be willing to give it a try again because of the excellent service even wheneveryone is understaffed. I also like that it isn't a chain restaurant. I never would have known about Dockside Cafe if ithadn't been for a friend suggesting our group meet there.

This place is perfect for getting off the water and having a few drinks and eats. I think the food is very authentic and there is effort with homemade items that are usually frozen in this same class of restaurant. Is it perfect? No but most places withyoung staff and serving simple fare are not. I like the salads, burgers, ribs and hand-cut fries. Anywhere serving hand-cutfries is trying to serve good food. Deserts in jars is also a good idea too!
