All the coffee’s arrived and wer... read more I’ve ate here about a month ago and I enjoyed it.The weekend's visit was really disappointing. We ordered our meals and coffee. All the coffee’s arrived and were cold. We didn’t complain as there was a large group of about 20 people and the staff were rushed off their feet. The staff weren’t very chatty and I put this down to the fact that they were just so busy (there were only 3 staff front of house and one was the barista).We had to ask for glasses and cutlery as they had both run out.When our food arrived it was very slap dash – no care or attention to the presentation. The food didn’t really reflect what was on the menu either, smashed avocado – it was just avocado on bread (not toasted) the other meals weren’t flash either. Another small gripe, the music was way too loud – it was hard to have a conversation.I’m disappointed as this café is part of Carey Baptist College and I want to support local businesses. I may try it again down the track but really not a fan after the weekend. I don’t like posting negative feedback on TA when I haven’t given it in person, I did leave a msg asking for a call back, but unfortunately no-one returned my call.
