Always great food, service. But it's like the a/c isn't working. Not the restaurant fault but it's definitely been real warm inside over the last few weeks.

I wish I would have read more reviews! I thought it was just my experience or I wasn 't reading the room correctly BUT NO, like another reviewer stated I should have walked right out, they were not friendly AT ALL.towards me. As I was sitting waiting on my order, other customers started coming in, all of them were greeted and there was much more interaction with them from the staff. I was the only person of color there at this time (11am). So, my order was taken by an older short lady, I didn 't get her name. I was asked if I needed to see a menu, but I already knew what I wanted. I ordered the 6 wings well done, Carolina gold and the original steak sandwich I wanted everything that it came with but I asked if they could add lettuce and tomatoes, the waiter proceeded to pull the menu out for me to read what it came with, I told her I understand what it comes with but can you just add lettuce and tomato yeah, got it she replies, what sides! I explained I didn 't want any sides, and she cut me off and stated well I can 't change the price. I should have left at that moment but needless to say they didn 't add the lettuce and tomatoes to my sandwich nor did they cook my wings well done the steak sandwich was so tough and chewy I gave it to my dog. They will never get my business again! I relocated to this area after retiring from the military, and the racism I 've experienced in this area is mind blowing

Came down to Charlotte for a concert and stopped here for dinner. The food, service, and atmosphere are all great. Seems like a nice hangout for locals. And the prices are excellent!

Three Monkeys is locally owned and operated, and the food and staff are awesome. I highly recommend the chicken salad wrap. My wife gets one every time we order, and you can't go wrong with the Monkey Burger either.
