The food is made from scratch, and the onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. The chicken fried chicken was also delicious. I definitely plan on returning to this restaurant in the future.

The fries were stale and tasted like they had been baked instead of fried, which was disappointing. The Reuben sandwich was just okay - there wasn't much corned beef and it was chunked instead of sliced. The sandwich lacked Russian dressing and the Rye bread was more like regular sandwich bread. For a $10.00 sandwich, I was expecting something more substantial like a thick bakery bread. My husband's burger was okay. The waitress offered to comp my sandwich, but I declined since we had already eaten it. Additionally, there was an upcharge for using a credit card, which I found to be a questionable business practice. It would be better to advertise the full price and then offer a discount for cash payments. I don't think I will be returning to this restaurant.

Our friends had a huge portion of catfish and the other a BLT, both enjoyed. The staff was very friendly and made us laugh, especially EmmaJo! The cook came out later to ask us how we enjoyed our meals and to tell us the menu for the Sunday buffet. We'd definately go back!

We had a sweet server who took great care of us. The food was delicious. But it was a little pricey, especially since there was a service charge and credit card fee that were not disclosed upfront. Small business is hard and everything is going up, but I would have preferred to know about those charges/fees ahead of time.
