Whil... read more To be honest, I have lived in Zelie for more than ten years and have eaten at Burghers multiple times during that period. However, I will not be returning. While their burgers and chicken are tasty, the prices are not justified. The service, whether dining in or getting takeout, is consistently poor. Even the bartenders, except for Scott (if he is still there), are not very friendly when taking orders or giving out food. There are plenty of family-owned restaurants within a short drive of Zelie where you can get equally delicious burgers or chicken for less money. I am willing to pay more for quality food from local businesses, but paying $20 for a double cheeseburger and fries (which are often too salty and served in small portions) is tough to justify. In my opinion, the double burger patties are smaller than regular-sized patties. This became apparent to me when comparing my double patty burger to my wife's single patty burger - the difference in patty size was clear.

Although the waitress replaced the bun, a personal apology from the owner or manager would have been appreciated. We were displeased with the poor service and will not be returning to this restaurant. We do not recommend it either.

Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already! We always opt to sit at the bar or on the patio, where you're even welcome to bring your dog.
